I’ve been teaching high school English in Alabama for the past 27 years. In that time, I’ve had the privilege to have many, many conversations about poetry (and literature in general) with many, many students. It seems a shame for all that I’ve learned in my teaching and from my students to just stay in the classroom, so I created this blog to share some of the moments I’ve experienced a wild surmise with poetry and students with others.
